The company
sbnet GmbH
sbnet GmbH was founded in 2010. No investor, no exit plan – just two people who are good at what they do and want to help Swiss companies with their IT.
We're not a consultancy that promises you a team and then sends juniors. You talk directly to Simon or Andrea – and they do the work themselves.
We believe in open source, maintainable code and infrastructure that doesn't wake you up at night. And we believe that good IT support means being there when something breaks – not just when it's convenient.

The people behind it
Simon Hofer
Owner · Cloud, Kubernetes & Software
Simon has worked with Windows and Linux systems, databases, GIS data and now daily with Kubernetes and TypeScript for over 20 years. He thinks like a developer but also like a sysadmin – which helps when problems aren't in the code but somewhere below it.
Before sbnet he ran data centers with Exchange, SQL Server and SharePoint, built geodata pipelines and migrated cantonal geoportals to Kubernetes.

Owner · IT Support & SME care
Co-founder and owner. Her domain: making sure hardware works, Windows doesn't spring surprises and small businesses have a contact they can trust.
Whether it's setting up a PC, Office problems or printer trouble – Andrea sorts it out without jargon. Her strength is explaining technical issues clearly and fixing them properly, not just patching them.
